Michael cut his teeth at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, where he studied with industry titans including Norm Zocher and Joe Stump, and became the first rock/metal player to win the Jimi Hendrix Award.
After graduating from Berklee with a degree in performance, Michael began to pursue his career in various rock and metal bands across the country.
With an insatiable love of his instrument, Michael continued to study with players such as Christian Muezner and Matthew Mills, while also releasing music and teaching so he could “afford to not go hungry.”
